about

Mr. Frog's Eulogy begins as a chill, ambient tune with big choruses and ends with a thrash metal surprise. The title was conceived through banter in rehearsal when we thought the guitar riff sounded similar to the Crazy Frog song.

lyrics

If you’re cornering me
I’m allowed to lose my self control it’s mine
Calm, careless and free
Baby this doesn’t feel right
Throw your caution to me
I take full responsibility
Cut me down like a weed
I’m sorry I didn’t think twice

But every time I come home early
I don’t get to see your face
And anytime I come home late it’s an offense to you

Apart from caring at all
I can’t bare to sit and watch you fall
On my life I won’t let you throw yours away

Sick of struggling to breathe
Before it’s over you’ll have to lose your hold
I get you’re worried for me
Safe and sound isn’t fun though
I’m done begging to be
I’m allowed to grow, evolve, think you should too
And when I wake up alone
I’ve a right to say I told you so

I need to know who I am when no one’s there

Apart from caring at all
I can’t bare to sit and watch you fall

One more call I can’t complain
Because I’m twice the trouble with half the brain
And if I drink too much you’ll go insane
And it’ll be my fault I’m all to blame

We’re out of time
And it’d kill my spirit to fall in line
I think you’ll be just fine
If you think I’m over you you’re out of your mind

Let me drown in the gutter
It’s not your job to pull me out
We’re not bound to each other
You are free to do your own thing now
